Founder, Masters in Music (Tabla)
Amarjeet Singh Founder of the Naad Foundation has Masters in Music (Tabla), started learning from his elder brother Sd Deedar Singh and later from Guru Shri Thakur Kishan Singh (Benaras Gharana). He also then trained by Bhai Baldeep Singh (Punjab Gharana), and Capt Gunwant Singh Ji (Delhi and Azrara Gharna).
Appointed as the Cultural Ambassador by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to teach and perform Tabla in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, (formerly Russia). Later took up as staff artist at the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts University of Delhi. In his teaching carrier (since 1991) he trained so many students in India, Germany, Uzbekistan and Canada, and has performed, accompanied internationally with renowned artists of Vocal, Instrumental & Dance.
A Scholarship winner from "Music and Drama Academy of Rajasthan". Amarjeet Singh has won many laurels such as the "Sangeet Bhushan (Music jewel)" award from the Education Department of Rajasthan and also was awarded by Canadian Red Cross with Leadership Circle Award.

Gagandeep Singh founder of NAAD Foundation is specialized in Indian classical, Devotional, Sufi and Folk music. He has composed and enriched Songs / Albums with his melodious and soulful Voice & Music. He judged many Music competitions. (Judge of Redfm idol last 4 years).He also trained so many students and took them to the level, where they could perform as professional musician. He composed and produced Songs for different singers. His music Album 'Dastak' was released in 2013 and recognized as a soulful/melodies and a classic in music industry. Sarangi / Dilruba / Esraj / Tar Sehnayi - Instructor
Baljit Singh Multi-instrumentalist (Sarangi, Dilruba, Esraj, Tar Sehnayi) . Baljeet Singh started learning Dilruba from Prof Avtar Singh and then later from Ustad Piara Singh Padam. Baljeet performed with and accompanied many renowned artists internationally and received many appreciations. He is currently working as teacher and performer at the Naad Foundation in Surrey BC.

Dr. Bruce Harding is a multi-instrumentalist (flutes, vocal, guitar, bass and djembe), composer, and music producer from Surrey, BC, a versatile artist, Musicologist with many albums to his credit. He tours regularly across Canada, and beyond singing and playing for audiences large and small. Bruce Harding was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, into a family which still believed in the time-honoured tradition of family music-making despite the increasing prevalence of television, stereo etc.
Coach Sandhu is a guitar instructor, studio musician and live performer. Over 30 years of playing experience has led Coach on a journey of musical exploration in a wide variety of styles including Rock, Blues, Country, Funk, Jazz, Classical, Bhangra and Fusion. Comfortable teaching students ranging from children to adults, beginner to advanced, Coach shares his passion for music with the belief that anyone can learn to play the guitar.
Sandy (Surinder ) Khaira has a great ear for music from rock to jazz fusion to Classical Indian. Picking up the guitar on his own initially and later with a teacher for a short time, he is well versed in both eastern and western styles of music. His passion in drumming started at a young age and carries on until today. He started learning drums from an accomplished local drummer and percussionist Mike Michalkow and has studied with drumming greats like Dom Famularo and Chuck Silverman, among attending countless drumming clinics from internationally acclaimed drummers that have come through our city. Learning tabla with Amarjeet Singh, his drumming style shows a fusion of western, jazz, Latin rhythms with hints of Classical and popular Indian grooves. A director at Naad Foundation, Sandy has since accompanied local performers on the drums and guitar.
Vidya Veena Instructor
Vidya Sundar is an artist whose long research on East Indian music and origin of sound lead to discovering his own instrument called vidya-vina or veenar, a combination of guitar and vina. He is an accomplished guitarist bridging between eastern and western styles of music. He lived in India for many years which helped him to understand gist of the Vedas and mood of Indian rich culture. He studied under Rampersad Ramdass and Jan Hopke.
The Naad Foundation is actively working in the fields of arts & education. Our mission is to educate and enhance awareness of the performing arts by means of organizing public performances in local venues for the benefit of the entire community (not just those of South Asian descent – our passion includes introducing these arts to other Canadians as well, both as listeners and as participants).
